July 10th, 3 weeks after the falling tree

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted.

Joe is still hanging out at IMC hospital in room 1126, he does like to have visitors and is glad he is able to remember them. He had a few days that I am not sure he knew who was coming and going from his room. (glad he is doing well enough not to be in ICU).
He enjoys the short distractions from having to lay flat in bed.  Brendalyn is by his side as much as possible but it is nice when people can visit him while she is at work.  But, any time is a good time to visit. Just make sure he is still there before you head to the hospital.
At this point they are not going to do surgery.  They want him to be still for a few more weeks and then do some more recovery over the next several months for those bones to heal on there own. After that they will talk and see if any surgery would be beneficial for his continued recovery.

He will be moving to a Rehabilitation facility soon, we do not have a day, time or location so be sure to check back and we will update this blog and let you know.
