Joe went into surgery about 6:45 tonight to have pulmonary surgery, he came out about 10:00p.m. The doctor said that it went well, they felt like they were able to do some good work. They tried to just use a scope but they ended up doing more. They cleaned up his lungs and chest so hopefully he will feel the relief and be able to breath better. Today Joe could hear people talking around him, he responded by squeezing hands.
Brendalyn was able to see him tonight before she went home, for some well deserved sleep.
